Patriot at the River

In the tumultuous backdrop of 1780 North Carolina, backcountry scout Benjamin Woodbridge finds himself drawn into a battle he never anticipated when he intervenes to help a civilian pursued by British soldiers. As he grapples with his injuries and the loss of his hometown, which is under threat from the same officer who once devastated his family, Benjamin must rally a group of unlikely allies, including the determined Aunt Kate, to defend his community.
