The Devils of Bakersfield

In the seemingly placid oil town of Bakersfield, a dark history of hostility towards outsiders resurfaces when Jack Liffey and his daughter Maeve seek refuge from Los Angeles. The town turns its paranoid fears on a group of teenage girls accused of Satanism, leading to widespread hysteria, a massive book burning, and a police raid against perceived enemies of the evangelical movement. As the chaos escalates and Maeve mysteriously disappears, Jack races against time to find her and protect the girls from the town's imminent "exorcism."
