Buried at Sea

In 1976, the USS Redstone, the oldest ship in the Navy fleet, is chosen to transport a priceless artifact of Tutankhamun for a public relations tour amid the integration of women on naval vessels. During a fierce storm, part of the cargo and two sailors mysteriously vanish, leaving the ship harboring a dark secret. Fifteen years later, Maggie Freeman joins the Navy and is assigned to the Redstone, where she faces the tyrannical Chief Engineer, Mal Hiller, and teams up with fellow sailor Steve Carter. As the U.S. edges toward conflict in the Middle East, they uncover the ship’s hidden secret, which could be their only chance for survival.
