Four siblings, aged 5 to 15, accidentally enter a fantastical world called Overtwixt while rushing through an airport, finding themselves trapped when the bridge home collapses behind them. As they navigate the bizarre nilands of Overtwixt—linked by an array of bridges and ruled by the tyrannical Vizier—they must confront the challenges of this strange realm and decide who they will become in order to survive.
