Birchwood Burning

In "Birchwood Burning," Dalton Grinder faces a life stripped of its foundations after being cast aside by the Army, abandoned by his wife, and grieving the loss of his grandfather. Now, he journeys from the heat of Florida to the frigid woods of Wisconsin to settle his grandfather's affairs, only to find himself amidst a brewing chaos in the South, described as an ‘insurrection’ and hinting at the onset of a new civil war. Set against the backdrop of the Eden event, this first installment in the North of Eden series explores Dalton's struggles as he confronts the turmoil that lies ahead.
