Beach Story

In "The North Carolina Foothills," twenty-seven-year-old artist Dove Abernathy navigates life with Asperger’s, relying on her mother, Bess, for emotional support. Their world is turned upside down when Bess suffers a severe head injury, prompting a move to beachside condos funded by the emotionally distant Harold, Dove's father. As danger lurks, Harold employs private investigator Vic Brunson to protect Dove from an unknown threat; Vic faces the challenge of uncovering a sinister motive while ensuring Dove's safety.
