Saving Mrs. Roosevelt

Shirley Davenport, a dedicated patriot and sister to four brothers, joins the newly formed SPARs, a branch of the Coast Guard for single women, to support the war effort. After completing basic training, she is commissioned back to her hometown in Maine under the guise of a dishonorable discharge to investigate a conspiracy against the First Lady. As Shirley delves deeper, she realizes that the motives of those around her may not be as clear-cut as they appear.
