Helen Binney, enjoying a newfound sense of health with her lupus in remission, immerses herself in gardening at the community garden. However, her first day takes a dark turn when she discovers a woman's body next to a bulldozer, prompting questions about whether the death was an accident or tied to ongoing disputes over the garden’s land. As Helen learns more about the victim, a real estate developer, she uncovers potential motives from various community members, urging her to investigate further despite warnings from her lawyer friend, Tate.
