In the aftermath of their victory over the Soultaker, the Knights Eternal are fractured, leading Shade to abandon his brothers in search of a god, only to discover Darkenwood—a hamlet plagued by oppression. As he attempts to liberate its residents, he's tested by his faith in humanity. Concurrently, Meesh navigates the challenges of raising the newly arrived Abednego amidst the dangers of the Wasteland, while a cryptic riddle from Old Crone drives him to find Shade and kill him. As these three brothers confront their intertwined fates, they grapple with the profound question of whether their destinies are determined by external forces or their own choices.
