You Are a Tree

In You Are a Tree, Joy Marie Clarkson delves into how the metaphors we use to describe ourselves profoundly impact our thoughts, spirituality, and daily lives. By contrasting the nurturing imagery of trees with the sterile efficiency of computers, she invites listeners to reflect on their experiences and the language they use. Through a blend of meditative insights, poetry, and scriptural references, Clarkson encourages a deeper appreciation for complexities like wisdom and love, fostering a perspective filled with wonder, gratitude, and hope.
