Winter Men

As the Nazis rise to power in Germany, two brothers, Karl and Gerhard, find their lives irrevocably altered by the war. Karl, a former soldier, takes up arms to defend his country, while Gerhard, an academic, becomes an informant for the Gestapo. Both are drawn into the SS, where they grapple with the horrifying consequences of their actions amid the unfolding atrocities. In the aftermath of the war, they are left to confront their overwhelming guilt and the challenge of living with their complicity in the horrors they witnessed.
