The Bookshop

In 1959, kindhearted widow Florence Green takes a bold step to establish the first bookshop in the small seaside town of Hardborough, fueled by a desire to enrich her community despite the impracticality of her venture. However, her efforts stir resentment among local shopkeepers and clash with Mrs. Gamart, the town's influential arts figure. As Florence navigates the challenges posed by a leaking warehouse and a supposedly haunted shop, she gradually realizes that the town's desire for a bookshop may not be as strong as she hoped.
