The Joy of Love (Amoris Laetitia)

Amoris Laetitia, or The Joy of Love, is an apostolic exhortation by Pope Francis, released on April 8, 2016, following the Synods on the Family of 2014 and 2015. Comprising an introduction and nine chapters with 325 paragraphs, it features references from various theological and literary figures, including St. Thomas Aquinas and Martin Luther King, Jr. The document addresses differing opinions within the Church and encourages careful, thoughtful engagement with its content rather than a hasty reading.
