In "New Canaan," the planet faces an imminent invasion from the Hegemony, driven by Uriel, which threatens to end in mutual destruction. Unbeknownst to the human defenders, their leader is being manipulated by core AIs with a vested interest in humanity’s downfall. As Tanis and Tangel return from a temporal jump, they prepare to confront the AIs, led by a lieutenant of Epsilon, in a decisive battle that could either lead to devastation or a chance for genuine peace.
