Aaron Tucker, an aspiring screenwriter and freelance journalist from New Jersey, embarks on a sleuthing journey when a young man with Asperger's syndrome is arrested for a murder he believes he didn't commit. Confronted with overwhelming evidence, including a confession and the murder weapon, Tucker, a father to an autistic son, struggles to reconcile the crime with his understanding of the suspect's condition. Undeterred by a warning from a local mobster, he enlists his son's help to uncover the truth behind the case.
