In the vibrant town of Salem, excitement brews when a major studio arrives to film a witchcraft-themed movie, capturing the attention of locals. WICH-TV's program director, Lee Barrett, juggles the demands of the project alongside her detective husband, Pete Mondello, and her best friend, River, who takes on a role as a stand-in. The situation takes a dark turn when the lead actress is found dead on set, prompting Lee to delve into a chilling investigation filled with secrets and sorcery, aided by River's coven and a clairvoyant cat.
