Darkness Falls

Erin Neal has retreated from the world after his girlfriend's death, but is reluctantly drawn back into his former life when Homeland Security needs his expertise to tackle a crisis in the Saudi desert. A new bacteria threatens oil production by not only devouring oil but also damaging drilling equipment, raising fears of a global energy catastrophe. As Erin investigates, he discovers unsettling similarities between this bacteria and something from his past, suggesting it may not be a natural occurrence.
