Othello

In "Passionate Love in a Prejudiced World," director Bill Rauch delves into Shakespeare's intimate tragedy, illuminating themes of racism, religious bias, and xenophobia amid the complexities of human relationships. As celebrated Moorish general Othello navigates societal bigotry against his marriage to Desdemona, their love faces profound challenges, particularly from the manipulative Iago, whose deep-seated resentment threatens to unravel their bond.
