Adolfo Kaminsky

At 17, Adolfo Kaminsky narrowly avoided deportation to Auschwitz and became a key forger for the Jewish underground in Nazi-occupied Paris, using his artistic skills to create documents that saved around 14,000 people. After World War II, he transitioned to a career in photography but continued to forge documents for refugees and activists for 25 years. His covert efforts to aid those fighting for freedom remained largely hidden until his daughter, Sarah Kaminsky, encouraged him to share his remarkable story of resilience and bravery.
