Fiddle Game

In "The Bail Bondsman," Herman Jackson, now a respectable bail bondsman in St. Paul after fleeing his turbulent past in Detroit, finds himself entangled in a dangerous conspiracy when a young woman uses an antique violin as collateral for her brother’s bail. After her mysterious murder, the police dub him the prime suspect unless he relinquishes the violin as evidence. With his freedom at stake, Jackson embarks on a frantic quest to uncover the truth, all while being pursued by law enforcement and a group of Gypsies, forcing him to confront the shadows of his former life.
