Big Jake's Last Drive

In Ralph Compton's latest installment of the Trail Drive series, seasoned ranch hands Big Jake Motley and Chance McCandles embark on one final cattle drive from Texas to Kansas, as the iconic era of trail drives nears its end. Tasked with gathering a crew to move thousands of cattle, they face numerous dangers along the way. The journey takes a tragic turn when Chance is murdered by rustlers, prompting Big Jake to seek vengeance for his fallen friend.
