On the ominous island of Kisapmata, a chilling legend looms as a Hollywood film crew arrives, eager to capture evidence of a curse that has left locals too terrified to visit. As they enlist the help of Alon, a local teen, the crew soon encounters eerie phenomena, triggered by the discovery of a mummified corpse entwined in a giant balete tree.
