Twelve-year-old Gratuity "Tip" Tucci embarks on an extraordinary adventure while trying to compose her school essay on “The True Meaning of Smekday.” As she navigates the chaos following an alien invasion by the Boov, who have taken her mother and renamed Earth "Smekland," Tip forms an unlikely alliance with a renegade Boov mechanic named J.Lo.
