On May 4th, 1970, amidst heightened tensions following President Nixon's order to send troops into Cambodia, four students were tragically shot by the National Guard at Kent State University. Meanwhile, in London, Dr. Zack Busner, a maverick psychiatrist, unknowingly embarks on a risky LSD trip with residents of his therapeutic community. Five years later, while watching Jaws, he reflects on the harrowing connections between a survivor of the USS Indianapolis disaster and a British Royal Air Force observer involved in the Hiroshima mission.
