When ten-year-old Lukas vanishes from his school in Copenhagen, police uncover his fascination with pareidolia, the ability to see faces in inanimate objects. A photo of a barn door resembling a face and the discovery of his bloodied jacket linked to a troubled former soldier raise unsettling questions. Journalist Heloise Kaldan believes she recognizes the barn, but when the soldier is found dead, the investigation deepens into a web of mystery and uncertainty, challenging the reliability of perception and truth.
