Widowed van driver Bob Naylor reluctantly joins the Chichester Writers' Circle at the encouragement of his teenage daughter, despite fearing he won't fit in among the diverse and talented members. As he navigates the world of writing, an unexpected danger arises: a serial arsonist is targeting the group, and Bob finds himself entangled in a deadly investigation. To prove his innocence, he must work alongside the determined Detective Chief Inspector Henrietta Mallin.
