In a small Amish community, Christmas brings unexpected opportunities for Karl Graber, a widowed father focused on his hardware store and daughters. While local matchmaker Rose Yoder doesn't see him as a potential match for new schoolteacher Sophie Eicher, their paths intertwine when they collaborate on a "living nativity" Christmas program.
