The Mirror of the Soul

Set in the post-Hundred Years' War Dordogne region of France, "The Mirror of the Soul" unfolds with the arrival of a mysterious glowing diamond, claimed by the abbot of Abbé St. Pierre as a divine gift. This powerful gem not only heals the sick but also offers a chance to absolve sins and attain eternal life—all at a cost. The narrative weaves themes of corruption, greed, and redemption, inspired by Chris de Burgh’s song of the same name.
