Beyond the Silence

In their second novel, Lillian Porter sets out to fulfill her mother's dream by becoming a nanny in Angels Camp, California, despite the warnings surrounding her new employer, Woodward Colton, who is rumored to be involved in his wife's death. As Lillian navigates her role caring for six-year-old Jimmy, who has been silent since the tragedy, she discovers mounting tensions on the Colton olive farm, along with a growing sense of danger.
