Deeper than the Dead

In 1984, an idyllic California town is shaken when three children discover a shallow grave containing the body of a young woman, marking the third victim of a suspected serial killer. Special Agent Tony Mendez of the FBI's criminal profiling unit investigates, honing in on Dr. Peter Crane, a respected community member with ties to the victims. When a new victim surfaces, a sheriff's deputy also becomes a suspect, complicating the case as the connections between the families deepen. With one of the children's knowledge potentially holding the key to the killer's identity, the tension escalates, revealing a dark truth that could threaten their safety.
