Death on Delos

In ancient Greece, around 545 BC, the sacred isle of Delos faces turmoil as murder disrupts its holy haven, where both dying and giving birth are illegal. Priestess Diotima, heavily pregnant and the island's only available detective, must navigate the chaos wrought by Athenian troops led by the statesman Pericles, who have come to seize the Delian League's treasury. With her husband, Nicolaos, implicated in questionable dealings linked to the murder, Diotima must uncover the truth, restore peace, and prepare for her impending motherhood.
