Pinocchio: The Original

"Pinocchio, the Original" is a modern take on Carlo Collodi's 1883 classic, adding insights from veteran puppeteer Steven Ritz-Barr. This edition presents a darker, more complex narrative compared to the beloved Disney adaptation, featuring a wooden puppet's tumultuous journey towards becoming a real boy. As Pinocchio faces challenges including corrupt officials and the deceit of con men, he learns valuable lessons about behavior, friendship, and redemption, culminating in a dramatic adventure that showcases both absurd humor and profound themes.
