A Death in Norfolk

In September 1817, Captain Gabriel Lacey returns to his childhood home in Norfolk with Lady Breckenridge, only to uncover a series of unsettling events, including a missing woman and strange occurrences at his estate. Amidst this turmoil, he is drawn into a dangerous plot involving an underworld criminal, James Denis, who requires Lacey to deliver a message to a local squire. What begins as a simple task escalates into a perilous adventure involving international theft and murder, forcing Lacey to ally with Denis to confront a brutal killer and save a person of significance to Denis.
