National Women's Party Fight for Suffrage

On January 10, 1917, thirteen resolute women gathered at the White House, brandishing banners that proclaimed, “HOW LONG MUST WOMEN WAIT FOR LIBERTY?” This marked the beginning of a significant picketing campaign aimed at drawing President Woodrow Wilson’s attention to their demand for voting rights.
