The Shadow Killer

In Reykjavik during August 1941, a travelling salesman is discovered murdered, drawing the attention of local police who initially suspect the Allied occupation forces. Detective Flovent teams up with young military policeman Thorson as they delve into a web of intrigue involving a German family and shadows of espionage. As they race against time to solve the mystery before US counterintelligence intervenes, unsettling revelations about past experiments on Icelandic schoolboys further complicate their investigation, while Thorson grows wary of the victim's former girlfriend and her British soldier partner.
