After the tragic loss of his mother to cancer, Lonnie McKay's life spirals out of control as he finds himself homeless in the unforgiving streets of Detroit. Struggling against a system that seems indifferent, he develops a deep-seated resentment toward the women around him who could potentially help. Consumed by his pain and seeking escape through substance abuse, Lonnie's delusions drive him to take drastic actions, leading him down a dark and dangerous path.
