Mr. American

In 1909, Mark Franklin arrives in Liverpool with little more than a copy of Shakespeare, an old Mexican charro saddle, and two Remingtons in his worn luggage. Although he appears to be just another tall, softly-spoken American, his true identity and background remain a mystery, even to the astute General Flashman.
