Pushing Ice

In 2057, Bella Lind and her crew aboard the nuclear-powered ship Rockhopper excel in exploiting the solar system, particularly through ice mining. As they approach the end of a mission cycle, an urgent alert disrupts their plans: Saturn's moon Janus has inexplicably altered its orbit and is hurtling out of the solar system. Soon revealed to be a machine rather than a moon, Janus is heading toward a mysterious artifact 260 light-years away, and Bella is tasked with shadowing it for a few critical days, setting her crew on a path filled with unexpected twists.
