Abracadaver [Dramatized Adaptation]

In "R.I.P.," struggling actress Esther Diamond gets a chance to revive her career with a role on the TV crime drama The Dirty Thirty, despite her tumultuous start to the year involving incarceration and mystical threats. Tasked with bringing authenticity to the show, she convinces her co-star to shadow her ex-boyfriend, Detective Connor Lopez, which leads to tensions as they uncover supernatural happenings in Manhattan, including corpses that refuse to stay dead. Alongside her 350-year-old mage friend Max, Esther must navigate the dangers posed by a new detective partner while facing a menacing foe intent on disrupting their lives.
