Following the events of Star Trek Generations, ambassador Spock visits the grave of his friend James Kirk on Veridian III, only to confront a dire situation. The Borg and the Romulan Empire employ alien science to resurrect Kirk, hoping to utilize him against Jean-Luc Picard. To combat this formidable new threat, the legacies of both Kirk and Picard must unite, drawing on the strengths of iconic characters like Spock, McCoy, Data, and Riker.
