Pursued by Death

When Varg Veum stumbles upon a newspaper headline about a missing young man, he recalls seeing him just days earlier at a protest against a fish-farming facility in the village of Solvik. His curiosity leads him to Solvik, where he discovers a dead body in the sea, entangling him in a sinister web of secrets, rivalries, and local lore. As he investigates, Veum seeks to uncover the connections between this death, a journalist's earlier demise, and the fierce competition between two dominant families in the salmon-farming industry.
