At just 14, Bronislaw Huberman captivated audiences worldwide, gaining recognition after performing Brahms' "Violin Concerto" with the composer’s endorsement. His artistry took a profound turn following the devastation of World War I, leading him to dedicate his fame to humanitarian efforts, including a call for peace alongside influential figures like Freud and Einstein. As Nazism rose, Huberman's commitment culminated in the founding of the Palestine Symphony in 1936, which later evolved into the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, enabling the escape of nearly a thousand Jewish musicians and their families from impending danger.
