Tempting Fate

Seventeen-year-old Clocker Saira Elian is on the run from the increasingly powerful Mongers who seek to control all Immortal Descendants. With the help of Archer, the Descendant of Death who has long loved her, Saira embarks on a perilous journey back to 1554 to rescue their friend Ringo, who is imprisoned and tortured by the ruthless Bishop Wilder. Their quest leads them to the Tower of London, where they must navigate danger and confront historical threats to prevent a madman from altering history and endangering their kind.
