All-Star pitcher Peter Friedman is passionate about baseball, but his dreams are shattered when a pitching accident ruins his arm before high school even starts. As he grapples with his identity outside the diamond, he must also navigate complexities in his personal life, including his grandfather’s troubling behavior and his relationship with his best friend, AJ. The only person he feels he can turn to is Angelika, a girl from his photography class, who challenges him to confront his struggles and be honest with himself.
