Every other Friday, Edna Esh and her childhood friends gather to bake sugar cookies for their church, offering support as they navigate life's challenges. When Edna's friend Verna’s daughter, Myrna, is fired from her job, Edna sees potential for change and connects her with Ezekiel Riehl, a widowed father struggling to manage his chaotic household.
