Missouri

In the second installment of the series, Jeff Boon, a Confederate Civil War veteran, sets out with a group of settlers to begin anew in Oregon. While wintering in Missouri, the settlers face mounting tensions both with anti-Confederate locals and among themselves, particularly with Abe Hackett, a man with a violent past. As conflicts escalate, Jeff must navigate the precarious situation to protect his hopes for a fresh start.
