Over the Waters

In "Dr. Botox," Max Jordan, a plastic surgeon catering to Chicago's elite, is confronted with profound loss after his son Joshua chooses to dedicate his life to helping Haitian orphans and subsequently passes away. Driven by grief, Max travels to the orphanage where Joshua worked, only to be challenged by the selflessness of the volunteers, particularly Valerie Austin, whose dreams have been replaced by a commitment to the children. As Max grapples with his son’s choices and his own life of privilege, he begins to question his values and the possibility of true freedom beyond his sheltered existence.
