In a futuristic Tampa Bay, skiptracer Dhata Mays and his sidekick, Lur Diaz, find themselves embroiled in a dangerous investigation involving a cheating lowlife. After a lethal explosion and the mysterious disappearance of their client, Dhata discovers that everyone is a suspect and the police can no longer be trusted. As he delves deeper, he uncovers a sinister plot threatening to ignite conflict between humans and synthetics, forcing him to confront whether he can tackle the truth alone before it's too late.
