Nadya

In the 1830s on the Missouri frontier, Nadya, the daughter of Polish immigrants, discovers she is a shape changer, a werewolf like her parents. After experiencing personal tragedy, she embarks on a journey west to California, where she seeks freedom and adventure. Along the way, she forms a bond with the cultured Elizabeth and the young Jenny, as the trio navigates the challenges of the vast American landscape, encountering dangers and exploring complex relationships, including an evocative connection between Nadya and Elizabeth.
