On the planet Skyfall, bard and skilled swordsman Eldrinson Valdoria navigates a world deemed primitive by the wider Imperialate civilization. Roca Skolia, a high-ranking councilor and heir to a powerful dynasty, finds herself marooned on Skyfall amid a political conflict with her warlord son and a critical assembly meeting regarding an impending interstellar war.
